Join the city of Waxahachie for a flower-filled 4th of July celebration with crape myrtles in full bloom during the 19th Annual Crape Myrtle Festival and Parade. The theme for this year’s festival is Pink Petals & Patriotism.
The patriotic celebration will begin on Sunday, July 3, at 5 p.m. with the InterBank Tailgate Party at the Waxahachie Sports Complex on Broadhead Rd. Guests will enjoy a concert at 7 p.m. sponsored by Carlisle Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac.
Following the concert will be the spectacular H-E-B fireworks display at 9 p.m. Spectators are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and their barbecue grills. Other festivities include a children’s area, food vendors, and more.
